wow. where did august go? i'm really trippin' that it's almost not summer any more.

there's so much to write about that i feel like i'm gonna just be backlogged for the rest of my life, but it's important to get this stuff down cuz my longterm memory sucks and i'll never remember that evening in red square w/ ryan & megan & jesse or the wilco concert w/ ian or when michael introduced me to thax douglas for the first time or karaokeing w/ erik or almost bowling w/ damien jurado or meeting andy myers or making a fool of myself in front of nick & his wife and uh the rest of the bumbershoot crowd or seeing death cab do my seattle song in seattle w/ my seattle friends etc etc etc. ok. at least i got a synopsis down.

BUT some important news. DENISON WITMER is touring with THE TROUBLE WITH SWEENEY. i love both these guys. they're playing the double door on tuesday 9/17 prob. 9pm but who knows. cheap show. prob. $8 or something. denison is my comfort music when i'm feeling blue and he's touched my life on a lot of levels, especially when my dad was dying, so he's in a sense always on my mind. go to burntoastvinyl's site for tour dates as denison's not updated his website in a while. computer woes and super super busy. yeah, click here for tour dates.
