i went to see the sunrise over lake michigan down by museum campus (that's where they shot those scenes in the wilcomentary i am trying to break your heart with the downtown skyline where leroy is jumping up and down at the planes flying into the now defunct meigs field)...there were these beautiful huge towers of clouds on the eastern horizon, and these thin low clouds floating through the loop...it was a beautiful morning...initially, i was just gonna have a looksy and mosey on back home and get some more shut-eye, but i ran into an older gentelman named pete who's probably in his 50's, and he stood there telling me stories until 8 am...but these stories...it was like having dean moriarty from kerouac's on the road in the flesh standing before me telling me his life stories...anyways, can't get into that now cuz i gotta get ready to go to church...little elliot's being dedicated today and i don't wanna miss that...

oh, the bill mallonee site has been totally revamped...props to jason horst, bill's webmaster! looks really great, just in time for the release of perfumed letter, which i will continue to call perfume letter cuz that's what my promo copy says it is...but i know that was probably a typo...anyways, the site's got a bunch of my photos on it in the photos section...and it's got the lyrics to perfumed letter!
